Black screen crash and only the cursor is visible

Apparently, hitting more than once the deploy button, clicking twice or more for instance, triggers the crash. Hit only once the deploy button.

Stuck in Shanghai loading screen

Workaround: Disable “Read-only” attribute in the BF4 Installation “Update” folder and confirm any notification popping up.

Everytime I get into combat during either the campagin or on multiplayer the game runs for a few minutes and the for some reason freezes and doesn’t respond to anything, have to click ctrl alt delete and end the programme, have been reading reports that this is due to the sound or something like that…. Please help 🙂

Despite the fact that I have done all the suggestion listed above, my Battlefield 4 is constantly crashing when launched. I really do not know why it’s crashing. My laptop specs are:

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @2.40 GHz, 2401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical processors
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M

I am crashing as well. I can get into a game and it will randomly freeze for a few sec then crash. I have not been able to finish a match for the last few weeks unless I join near the end 🙁

      Windows 7 32-bit
      Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 TI
      Intel Core i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 4Core(s)
      8GB of Ram

I have the latest drivers from Nvidia and all Windows updates. I have tried everything on the list above. including Reverting to older drivers.

      Any Help would be appreciated.

My Battlefield 4 crashes with any newer version of AMD drivers (betas and stable releases) after 13.12.
i can not find anything related with these crashes for months now.
I am doing a clean install every time before i try an AMD driver version and after the loading screen i can play for about 5 secs and it crashes.
My card is not overclocked and it does not overheat.I have the ASUS(AMD) HD Series 6950 DCII 2GB.

I forgot to say that i tried to lower every Video Setting in-game or even turn it off if it has this option(example AA).
Also my card does not support Mantle so probably my problem is not related to this.
